Christmas is known worldwide as the annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus, and is celebrated by Christians and Catholics globally. While you might not get snow-capped trees and freezing cold weather, Christmas in Singapore is an equally joyous time.

Streets are lit up with stunning Christmas lights and Christmas trees abound in buildings. Public performances such as caroling will take place in malls, and if you are really angling for some form of snow, Tanglin Mall has a foam snow party for the kids and the young at heart to enjoy in.

Christians and Catholics in Singapore also take this time to attend special church services on Christmas Day and dedicate the day to the worship and remembrance of Jesus Christ.
